Jenni Mansfield Peal, Miss Jenni, Jennifer Mansfield: Not the Daughter of Jayne Mansfield (see note below), they're all me. My career has been diverse and has become long, driven by a deep love for music and original expression. I've had many audiences, and have written and sung for all of them with the open honesty an artist must assume. I'm a teacher, a student, an instrumentalist and song preservationist, a children's entertainer and chanteuse to the elderly, a song writer and a poet. I love songs and will continue, with the Grace of God, to sing them.
As a song writer, I use the whole language, as well as the extent of musical style that I can grasp and compose with. My pen and voice are given to all human experiences that move me, bright and dark. The following two original albums are for adult audiences and contain adult material (content and language.) Note "Whore's Breakfast" on Flood and "Angel Ann" on Big Wind.
I hope you enjoy the originality of my songs and that you share any musical insights into humanity you might find. To me, they're a bookshelf of short, fat fictions with the world and all of us people as the characters.
Yours for this musical journey, Jenni
